Role Overview:
We are seeking an ADMS Technical SME to provide deep technical expertise and hands-on leadership across Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) ecosystem. This is a client-embedded role responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, reliability and performance of ADMS across BAU (run), improve and change activities within a safety-critical distribution network environment.
The role sits within a run-led delivery model and operates at the intersection of system engineering, integration execution and consulting-grade technical problem solving. You will act as the technical authority across ADMS (SCADA, DMS, OMS, DERMS) and its integrations, ensuring designs are robust, integrations are reliable, and issues are resolved decisively with minimal operational impact.
Success in this role is measured by system reliability, quality of technical outcomes, speed and accuracy of issue resolution, and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks before they impact operations. Technical metrics (defect rates, interface failures, latency, system performance) act as leading indicators to protect operational outcomes and control-room effectiveness.
- 6-12+ years' experience in ADMS or distribution operations technology.
- Hands-on experience across ADMS components and integrations (SCADA, DMS, OMS, GIS, AMI).
- Experience working in utilities or critical infrastructure environments preferred.
