Ayan Infotech is seeking an experienced .NET Team Lead - Hands-On Developer to lead and contribute to the delivery of a cutting-edge global Environmental Sustainability Governance (ESG) platform for a major Sydney-based client.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong Team Lead who enjoys remaining hands-on with development while mentoring developers, driving technical outcomes, and engaging with key stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
You will be working with a highly experienced Agile development team on a long-term strategic ESG initiative expected to run for several years, providing excellent contract continuity and exposure to modern cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on development across frontend and backend technologies
- Lead solution design, code quality, best practices, and technical delivery
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with offshore technical teams
- Mentor developers and contribute to a high-performing Agile team culture
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and technical problem-solving
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle
Essential Skills & Experience:
- React
- React Hooks
- Typescript
- .NET Core (.NET 6 or above)
- Azure Functions
- Azure SQL / SQL Server
- Strong experience developing modern web applications using:
- ASP.Net MVC
- Typescript
- Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams in a hands-on capacity
- Strong experience building and supporting enterprise-grade multi-tier applications
- Senior-level stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Github experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments
Experience with:
- Automated testing frameworks
- Unit testing
- Test-driven development (TDD)
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Agentic AI, AI workflow orchestration, or AI-powered application development
- Exposure to AI integration frameworks, LLM-based solutions, or intelligent automation platforms
- Experience designing scalable cloud-native architectures on Azure
Contract Details
- Initial 12-month rolling contract
- Hybrid working model
