Job Description

Ayan Infotech is recruiting an initial 6-month contract position for an IT Business Analyst in Sydney. The IT Business Analyst will report directly to the Project Manager to perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, and user acceptance testing. The role will also have the responsibility for managing new and changing business requirements ensuring the business system solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of the business and projects.

Skills and experience required:

  • Lead Requirements Analysis
  • Conduct discovery sessions
  • Identify, define and document Requirements
  • Facilitate requirements prioritization base on business value
  • Manage changes to requirements through effective use of change control
  • Analyze and map business process - Process Flow diagrams
  • Navigate the business and key stakeholders
  • Educate and influence best practice
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture from a business needs perspective
  • Business Requirements - constitutes a specification of what the business wants, expressed in in terms of broad outcomes that business requires rather than specific functions the system may perform
  • Functional Requirements - describe what the system, processes, product must do to fulfil business requirements
  • Non Functional Requirement - can't be met by a specific function, e.g. availability, performance, scalability, security, usability, operational support, and backup & recover
  • Report Specifications - specify any reporting requirements, purpose, attributes, columns or runtime parameters.

  • Degree in English, Communication or Technology.
