Title: Service Provider Pre-Sales Engineer
Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Type: Contract (6-12 months)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days in office in a week)
Required Skills and Experience:
Role: Act as a trusted technical advocate for key Service Provider customers in Melbourne, developing and validating technical solutions using SP portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
- developing technical solutions, building labs, and creating demo or Proof of Concept (POV) environments. configure Service Provider products to meet specific customer requirements, acting as a trusted technical advocate to ensure successful business outcomes for key Service Provider clients in Melbourne.
Required Skill Set:
- 5+ years in the networking and telecommunications industry, specifically with Cisco products or key competitor offerings.
- Strong background in Service Provider networking, including OSPF/ISIS, BGP, Segment Routing, Layer 2 & 3 VPNs, and QoS.
- Typically requires a BS/BA (EE/CS). Must hold a CCNP (Service Provider or Networking), Cisco Certified DevNet Professional, or CCDP.
- Soft Skills: Excellent listening, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Preferred/Highly Regarded Attributes
- Automation: Strong skills in Service Provider routing and network automation.
- Programming: Network programming proficiency in Python and Ansible.
- Advanced Certification: CCDE or CCIE status is considered a significant plus.
