AYAN InfoTech is looking for Technical Business Analyst to join an exciting project based in Sydney. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: Technical Business Analyst

Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions
Experience: 7+ Years
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst within project delivery, transformation, or system integration environments.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and data mapping, including interpreting complex or incomplete mappings and translating them into usable outputs. Strong understanding of integration delivery concepts, including interfaces, source-to-target mappings, data transformation, business rules, and system dependencies.
- Work with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and subject matter experts to elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for project initiatives.
- Review and analyse current state and future state process, system, and data mappings to support scope definition, impact assessment, and solution planning.
- Ability to trace and validate data across multiple layers (e.g. source, transformed, and curated data) to ensure accuracy of outputs.
- Experience supporting technical delivery teams through the full project lifecycle, including discovery, scope definition, design, build, testing, and implementation.
- Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders and translate complex information into clear, structured, and actionable artefacts.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience in financial services, wealth, superannuation, or other regulated environments will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with reporting or BI tools to build or recreate reports from underlying data will be highly regarded (e.g. Pentaho or similar tools).
