Required Skills and Experience:
Test Strategy & Planning: Create detailed test plans that define the scope, objectives, methodologies, and quality metrics for a project.
Team Leadership & Management: Assign tasks to testers, conduct daily stand-ups, and provide mentorship to improve the team's technical skills.
Resource & Tool Selection: Identify necessary hardware, software, and testing tools and evaluate when to implement automation vs. manual testing.
Defect Management: Oversee the bug tracking process, ensuring defects are documented accurately and working with developers to prioritize and resolve them.
Environment Coordination: Ensure the test environment (servers, databases, and network) is correctly set up
Reporting & Communication: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders. They prepare daily or weekly status reports detailing testing progress, risks, and blockers.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Monitor test execution to ensure it aligns with the initial plan, identify potential project risks early, and take preventative action
