Mandatory skills - Need a Business Analyst with Utility (Water industry or Electricity or Gas) industry experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify, analyse and document business processes, technical functions and user stories (requirements) to enhance business systems using best practice methodology and industry recognised processes, practices and systems, assisting others to decide on best approach
- Analyse current services and processes, analyse and respond to customer feedback and insights and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these and contribute to ongoing improvements to products and service delivery
- Working with subject matter experts and project team members to define, document and communicate technology project requirements and associated documentation
- Understand and prioritise customer requirements aligned to compliance needs (product rules, legislative requirements, and process re-engineering opportunities)
- Investigates problems, analyse options and provides recommendations for new and existing services, new initiatives, strategies and products to improve compliance, effectiveness and address risks
- Identify opportunities for enhancements and refinements in products and processes
- Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, project managers and other key stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Identify, analyse, manage and monitors relationships with and between stakeholders, engaging with users and stakeholders to collate needs and defines research which fits needs
- Significant experience in requirements elicitation and development and prioritisation of business requirements
- Experience in compliance projects and implementing associated changes
- Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, Business Analysis practices, and Business Process Modelling
- Broad knowledge of documentation standards
- Significant stakeholder management experience with internal and external customers
- A highly effective and collaborative team worker
- Experience mentoring other BAs, PMs and agile team members
