Ayan Infotech is currently seeking two experienced Desktop Engineers to join a major Windows 11 upgrade project based in Perth's CBD. These are contract roles with an immediate start and will run until the end of November 2025.
As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing both onsite and remote desktop support across a range of end-user devices. Your primary focus will be to respond to and resolve incidents and service requests efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes investigating, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues, particularly in relation to the Windows 11 upgrade.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing End User device technical support and a customer-oriented service experience.
- Manning the technical hub for walk-up requests
- Troubleshooting desktops laptops and tablets running a Windows OS (10 and 11).
- Working within Azure AD
- Working with and troubleshooting common enterprise applications (MS Office 365, Adobe, etc..)
- Troubleshooting peripherals (printers, POS terminals, barcode scanners, etc…)
- Ability to work with composure and professionalism when dealing with multiple demands
- Minimum 2 years experience with troubleshooting end user issues in a corporate environment
- ITIL v3 MCITP/MCTS and/or relevant technical qualifications highly regarded
- There is also scope for the position to be converted to fulltime employment.
