An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer - Networking & NCC to join a fast-paced cloud infrastructure program delivering critical network and connectivity solutions. This is a hands-on, implementation-focused role requiring strong technical depth across Google Cloud networking and security.
This engagement is part of a large-scale logistics environment and requires immediate mobilisation.
Key Responsibilities:
GCP Networking & Network Connectivity Centre (NCC)
- Design and implementation of VPCs, routing, and hybrid connectivity
- Managing the Network Connectivity Centre (NCC), including routing and troubleshooting
- Inter-networking connectivity (GCP to on-prem, Private Virtual Circuits, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Network performance monitoring and operational support
Next-Gen Firewall (GCP NSI Palo Alto)
- Firewall policy management and rule changes
- Security profile configuration
- Threat log monitoring and analysis
- Troubleshooting firewall-related issues
Secure Web Proxy (SWP)
- Web filtering policy configuration
- Category controls and threat proxy management
- Troubleshooting blocked sites and certificate errors
Monitoring, Observability & Alerting
- Building dashboards using logs, metrics, and traces
- Network performance monitoring
- Alert tuning and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Operational troubleshooting support
Infrastructure & Automation
- Networking as Code (Terraform)
- CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment
- Hands-on troubleshooting and operational support
Required Experience
- 10-16 years of networking experience
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Networking
- Proven hands-on implementation experience (not architecture-only)
- Experience with:
- VPC design & routing
- Hybrid connectivity
- Palo Alto firewall integration
- Secure Web Proxy
- Monitoring & alerting in GCP
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support background
