Ayan Infotech has an urgent and immediate requirement for an IT Engineer - Technical Support for a 3-6 months + possible extension contract role in Sydney CBD.

All applicants must have full work rights in Australia.

Required Skills and Experience:

The Support Engineer is responsible for supporting, monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks of the client in Singapore for about 100 employees. The Support Engineer is the only point of contact at this office for all IT related tasks including but not limited to workstation imaging, maintenance of systems hardware and software, vmware, office network and managing SaaS based technologies. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual is a part of the global Client Services team, and is required to provide remote support to other office locations. All client services system team members provide global support around the clock to all SaaS based technology such as Zoom, Slack, Google suite, etc.

  • Be responsible for the operation of On-Prem & Cloud VOIP systems including enterprise contact center.
  • Provide daily onsite IT helpdesk support
  • Evaluate system performance, recognize & deliver improvements to system designs in accordance to best-practices.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in new technology and advances in the industry and relevant systems
  • Manage and maintain office IT infrastructure, VM environment and disaster recovery practices
  • Collaborate with partners, vendors, and other team members on cross-functional initiatives
  • Provide global support for multiple team managed technologies like Google Suite, Slack, and etc
  • 1-2 years relevant VOIP experience
  • 1-2 years G-Suite support experience and G suite certification desired
  • Good familiarity with Linux, Windows and Mac OS support
  • Good knowledge of Slack administration
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service skills and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
