Ayan Infotech are looking for a Manual Digital Tester for a 6+ months contract job opportunity in Sydney.

Type: Contract (6 months +)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Responsible for planning, designing, and executing manual test cases for digital projects and operational requirements across Digital.
- Engage with project and test management to understand delivery methodology and develop a manual testing strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (project managers, test managers, product owners, scrum masters, business analysts, developers, functional testers) to embed manual testing practices within the project lifecycle.
- Determine scope of manual testing to derive best value for each project.
- Execute manual tests across browser, web services, native mobile, and headless browser environments.
- Continuously report meaningful results and statistics to stakeholders, tailoring information to audience needs. Support continuous improvement of manual testing processes and capabilities.
- Proven experience in quickly understanding applications and developing appropriate manual test cases at System and SIT levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to interact with senior management, drive engagements, resolve problems, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Track record of identifying and driving initiatives to enhance team's manual testing capability.
- Experience in Agile environments and understanding of principles such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (as relevant to manual testing).
- Previous experience as a QA tester for both web and mobile applications.
- Experience in delivering manual testing in financial environments is desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science or related area, or relevant experience.
- Experience implementing manual testing within large, complex programmes of work.
- Manual testing experience on web apps, web services, and mobile apps.
- Ability to develop manual test cases that follow best practice approaches, including test data management, test execution, reporting, and analysis. Solid understanding of how to parse and present test results that can be easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.
