The role requires expert understanding of the BRM development and with experience of the following:
- Overall design and development experience of about 5+ years in Wholesale Billing Telecom Domain, in Oracle BRM Application
- Strong C, C++ programming skills and knowledge on Java technologies. Experience in C/C++, Oracle 12c/19c, PL / SQL, PCM Java, BRM Webservice, Scripting language (perl/python)
- Strong understanding of BRM Architecture and experience working on BRM configurations for Real time Rating, Product configuration, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing Customization, Discount Configuration
- Exposure of Customer implementations for two or more BRM implementations
- Exposure on BRM extended modules using Webservice Manager, Billing Care Rest API, Collections, Pipeline
- Policy customization using PCM C or PCM Java, Writing MTAs
- Exposure to one of the configuration and release management tool like SVN, GIT, CVS etc. Exposure to any of defect tracking tool like Jira, etc.
- Experience in Telcom Billing Domain, preferably in Wholesale Telecom Billing Domain
- 3+ Years of experience in Agile Delivery
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
- Proven experience in implementation of best DevOps practices
You will be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities including technical design, integration design, development, unit testing, systems integration testing, configuration, documentation, report development, data migration, knowledge transfer, UAT support, production go-live, hyper-care and transition to the support organisation.
A key emphasis for us is on implementing solutions that make a difference by ensuring the delivery of quantifiable benefits to the client and you will provide advice and guidance to our customers on the process improvements and efficiencies that can be realised through the technical implementation on Oracle BRM.
To achieve this, you will need to work closely with the client SMEs and stakeholders and engage in various activities such as
Plan and manage deliveries in Billing Domain, leveraging agile techniques and frameworks and ensure high-quality products and user experience.
Assessment and analysis of functional requirements and assimilation into technical solutions.
Estimation and planning technical deliveries with coding, testing and debugging of applications.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Scrum Master/Iteration Manager, Product owner, Business users, Delivery Managers, Operations), via effective communications, negotiations and deliverables.
Report and escalate issues and risks and define mitigation plan.
Assist with development of strategies for continuous improvement of products/deliverables.
Create/translate business requirements into technical designs.
Build and test technical solutions.
You will be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities including Development, technical configuration, documentation and unit testing of Oracle BRM technical components and testing support, production go-live, hyper-care and transition to the support organisation.
You will also occasionally be required to provide support to pre-sales activities including the Oracle BRM implementation and upgrade, performing requirements fit / gap analysis, providing system demonstrations and advising on resourcing requirements for planning and estimating purposes.
