Ayan Infotech has an urgent and immediate requirement for an Oracle DBA with OEM Implementation Expertise for a long term contract position in Sydney.
All applicants must have full work rights in Australia.
Title: Oracle DBA with OEM Implementation Expertise
Type: Contract (6 months + possible extensions)
Location: Sydney, Bella Vista
Start: 1st week of Jan, 2021
Required Skills and Experience:
The Candidate must have Knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, architecting, and implementing Oracle Enterprise Manager.
The OEM specialist will be Responsible for :-
- Design, deployment, configuration, end to end monitoring and managing a Unix/Linux based DB env hosting a variety of databases and DB technologies including Oracle.
- Design and implement DB monitoring plans including automated alerts and notifications using metrics and KPIs,
- Perform DB Patching, Upgrades, monitor and report against database systems config baselines,
- Implement OEM features to enable automation of database provisioning, cloning, and replications.
- Evaluate the current OEM implementation, and design & implement a migration road map from the legacy OEM platform to the OEM 13c platform,
- Analyze Performance issues and provide recommendations based on OEM reporting capabilities; proactively diagnosing and resolving problems affecting databases;
- Should be preferably an OEM 12c Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Should have experience in OEM 13c Design, Implementation & High-Availability.
- Good working knowledge & experience on Oracle 11g/12c Multi-tenant RAC and Data guard on a variety of operating systems including Linux, Solaris and Windows).
- Design Oracle Backup strategies, and must have handled critical Recovery scenarios.
- Strong hands-on Experience with Oracle RMAN Backup and Restore, Export and Import Data Pump utilities.
- Experience in automating RMAN backups using OEM.
- Experience in shell scripting and script automation using OEM schedulers.
- Experience with automating database jobs using OEM.
