Ayan Infotech has an exciting initial 6-month contract opportunity for an Oracle Solution Architect in Perth. The Oracle Solution Architect is needed for an enhancement project with the focus on Oracle Forms and Report Services.

This contract will provide the opportunity to work in a large-scale enterprise IT environment with a highly experience and competent global IT delivery team. Our client invests billions of dollars in their IT environment, which will allow the contractor to work with the latest releases to what technology offers.
Experience needed:

- Technical experience in the following technology is highly desirable:
- JAVA Enterprise Edition (JEE) version 8 applications developed using JDeveloper version 12C.
- Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) version 12c - hosted on WebLogic Application servers.
- Oracle Forms and Report services version 12c, hosted on WebLogic Application servers.
- Oracle Forms / Reports Builders version 12c.
- Oracle relational database and stored packages/procedures (PL/SQL), version 19c.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- SDLC and Issue tracking using JIRA.
- Source Control using Subversion.
- Process and architecture modelling using iServer.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working in close collaboration with key program stakeholders and project resources, take the lead in translating business requirements into solution designs for the projects.
- Produce solution architecture documentation in line with customer and industry standards and best-practices.
- Engage with the Technical Architecture Group (TAG) and wider customer's architecture teams to obtain guidance on, and approval for, solution designs and required artefacts.
- Provide governance and assurance during project implementation, in addition to specialist advice, guidance and issue resolution.
- Critically, the Contractor should provide advice and guidance to project and customer resources as identified on best-practice, trends, and standards to enable the program to deliver contemporary, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- In providing the Services, the Contractor is required to deliver:
- Approved architecture documentation for specified projects.
- Quality engagement with customer personnel including building their capacity.
- Updated architecture repository with new approved architectural designs and solutions.
- Support and contribute to the successful delivery of solutions as per approved architecture documents.
- Accuracy and completeness of documentation - delivery of application objects and documentation that accurately reflects the requirements and specifications.
- Knowledge transfer to customer personnel
There is also strong potential for the contract to be extended.
