Job Description

Ayan Infotech are looking for a Sr Middleware Admin for a long term contract job opportunity in Sydney.

Title: Sr Middleware Admin
Location: Sydney
Type: Contract (6-12 months + long term)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology discipline or demonstrated extensive experience with applications administration and production environment management on large-scale mission critical systems.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in relevant technologies as defined below, in Production Environment Management and Application Support of enterprise and corporate solutions including

o Python, PERL, Powershell, UNIX shell programming?, Windows/Linux/Unix, Tomcat, Weblogic, IBM Websphere, IBM Integration Bus (IIB),BPM, Docker, EKS
o Oracle 12c Database/PostgreSQL/ Dynamodb/Mysql
o Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git, Bitbucket, puppet,splunk, dynatrace
o JAVA SE/EE, Eclipse, Toad, Tortoise SVN, Web Services, XML

o JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, Objective, Sharepoint

  • Demonstrated experience working in AWS/Azure hybrid cloud environment
  • Proven experience in the configuration, support and maintenance of multiple runtime applications and environments within a defined software development lifecycle supporting a parallel development and testing infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in Database management including data integration, data extraction and manipulation. Skilled knowledge of well performing SQL queries, complex stored procedures and ability to create reports using SSRS, Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience in perfomance tuning, administration (RMAN, data pump) of Oracle databases
  • Demonstrated ability to determine work priorities and meet strict deadlines and effectively manage client and stakeholder demands and relationships to achieve positive outcomes and meet service level targets.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership skills for continuous process improvement and automation.
