Ayan Infotech urgently needs a Symix/Syteline Consultant. This is an initial 6-month contract, and we require a contractor with proven experience who can come on board and hit the ground running. There is also a strong potential for the contract to be extended.

This contract will provide the opportunity to work in a large-scale enterprise IT environment with a highly experience and competent global IT delivery team. Our client invests millions of dollars in their IT environment, which will allow the contractor to work with the latest releases to what technology offers.
The Symix/Syteline Techno-functional ERP Consultant will be responsible for the effective implementation, customization, and support of the Symix ERP system. This role requires a strong combination of technical and functional expertise to ensure that the ERP system aligns with business processes and objectives. The consultant will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the smooth integration of Symix modules across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP Implementation & Customization:
- Support of Symix ERP modules, including setup, configuration, and customization.
- Work with business users to identify requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and deploy customizations, reports, and interfaces within the Symix ERP environment.
- Functional Analysis: - Analyze business processes and workflows to ensure alignment with Symix ERP functionalities.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and optimizations within the ERP system.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate users on Symix ERP modules and features.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: - Provide ongoing technical support for Symix ERP, resolving issues and ensuring system stability.
- Work with the IT team to ensure that the ERP system is properly integrated with other business systems.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
- Project Management: - Manage ERP-related projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Prepare documentation for system configurations, customizations, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Education: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: - 5+ years of experience working with Symix ERP or similar ERP systems in a techno-functional capacity.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation, customization, and support.
- Skills: - Strong understanding of ERP modules and their application in business processes.
- Proficient in SQL, scripting languages, and ERP development tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Symix ERP or other relevant ERP systems.
- Experience in project management or a related role.
- Knowledge of industry-specific business processes (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain).
