Job description: Cyber Security Architect
The Cyber Security Architect will provide expert leadership in developing and implementing secure cloud and email systems. This role demands advanced knowledge in Cloud Security Engineering and Email Security, complemented by skills in Identity and Access Management (IDAM) and Data Protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and establish secure cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and manage email security solutions, including anti-phishing measures, spam filters, and secure gateways.
- Work collaboratively with IT and DevOps teams to embed security controls within CI/CD processes.
- Lead threat modeling exercises, conduct risk assessments, and oversee vulnerability management for cloud and email infrastructures.
- Create, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Advise on identity and access management strategies such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory data protection requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal policies.
- Perform security audits and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Primary Skills:
- Significant hands-on experience in Cloud Security Engineering across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- In-depth understanding of various Email Security technologies (DMARC, DKIM, SPF, Secure Email Gateways).
- Proficiency in IDAM tools and frameworks (Okta, Azure AD).
- Knowledge of data protection practices and compliance benchmarks.
