Job Description:
- Strong experience in Dimensional Modelling (Star, Snowflake schemas) and Relational Modelling.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar).
- Solid understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience working with large-scale databases and enterprise data platforms.
- Ability to document data flows, data dictionaries, and model diagrams.
- Design and develop logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
- Translate business needs into data structures and database designs.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models along with metadata documentation.
- Work closely with business analysts to understand use cases and build appropriate data model themes.
- Optimize and update data models to support new and existing projects.
- Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from existing databases and SQL scripts.
- Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with application development teams to implement data strategies and build data flows.
- Analyze system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
