Overview:
As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will lead the design, governance, and optimisation of enterprise-wide data architecture across electricity distribution, transmission, and metering domains. This role is critical to enabling a unified, secure, and scalable data ecosystem that supports regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in enterprise data architecture within utilities or regulated industries.
- Expertise in Azure, SAP (S/4HANA, ISU, BTP), and data integration tools.
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and master data health monitoring.
- Familiarity with energy sector data flows, including metering, billing, and asset management.
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and cybersecurity standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned with business priorities and regulatory obligations.
- Drive integration of legacy systems and data silos into a unified platform supporting "single source of truth" for operational and customer data.
- Architect solutions leveraging Azure and other relevant tools for scalable, cloud-native data services.
- Implement data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with energy sector regulations and cybersecurity mandates.
- Support predictive analytics, asset performance modelling, and situational intelligence across grid and metering operations.
- Engage with business units, IT, and external partners to align data architecture with strategic programs.
