About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Consultant to join a key migration project in Melbourne. This is a 6-month contract opportunity offering a competitive daily rate. You will play a critical role in moving and configuring data across Workday modules, ensuring a seamless migration from a legacy Workday system to the latest version.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Workday migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Configure and validate Workday modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchase Order (PO), and Sourcing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data mapping and reconciliation.
- Identify gaps, issues, and risks during migration, proposing effective solutions.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance to ensure alignment with business processes and Workday best practices.
- Support testing, validation, and post-migration support activities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in Workday Financials, including AP, AR, PO, and Sourcing modules.
- Proven experience in Workday migration projects or system upgrades.
- Solid understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.
- Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and validate Workday data and integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant Workday certifications are highly desirable.
